Oprah said some amazing things in her final show.
I especially loved this part, about what she knows for sure.
It reminded me a lot of the Vision, Voice and Vocation work I’ve been doing…

This happened to me! I used to shop every Friday when I got my paycheck and then one week I just didn’t want to anymore!

I wholeheartedly agree with Oprah’s message on the last show! I loved that she illuminated that “our real ‘job’ is to figure out what our calling is and get about the business of doing it.” I was relieved when she shared that your calling doesn’t have to be your vocation.
Many people feel that if they are not currently working in a job that they are passionate about, they’ve failed in life. In reality, it’s ok for us to be at a point where we’re not making a living out of our passion.
With these ideas I think many people will naturally discover their passion. Without the pressure to create a career out of it… who knows, it may just turn into a vocation!
